In this tour you will track back the history of Ha Noi, explore its present and help to create a better future. Explore with me the hidden alleys inside the Old Quarter and the secret passages that the usual tourists will skip. See with your own eyes the real daily life of the Hanoi people and experience with all your senses what it means to live in a communist country with an open market.

ITINERARY

After the pick up at your hotel, we will visit the Temple of Literature and the Ho Chi Minh Complex.
Enjoy your lunch at a local street food restaurant that has been operated by the family for over 50 years, however it is now struggling to keep itself alive as the big companies are taking the land to build fancy buildings and apartment complexes. Visit this genuine traditional restaurant when you still can as it is unsure how much longer the owner can keep this family business.

After the meal we will explore the Old Quarter on foot. Explore with me the hidden alleys, a secret school deep inside the narrow passages and a fabulous hidden coffee shop inside an old french colonial style building. After the walk and exploration I will escort you back to your hotel.
